UK travel review August 2021

From August 8, four countries are being removed from England’s red list and four are being added while seven more, including Germany are being added to the green list. Arrivals from France will no longer need to self-isolate, aligning the nation with other countries on the amber list.

From 4am on Sunday, anyone returning from Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Slovakia, Latvia, Romania and Norway will no longer need to quarantine on arrival.

There are now 36 countries on the green list – but 16 of them, including Caribbean islands, Croatia, Malta, Israel and Taiwan are on the “green watchlist”, meaning they could be suddenly be moved to amber.

The safest and easiest way to travel whether it’s for a holiday, business or seeing family is by private jet. When you choose private aviation, you save time by avoiding commercial airline terminals. That means no checking bags before your flight or waiting for them to be returned in one piece while you wait hopefully.

You can typically arrive at the private jet terminal for your private flight about 20 minutes before your scheduled departure. If you arrive early, and the pilots are ready, you can often leave early.

At the other end, you will likely be off airport grounds less than 10 minutes after you pull up to the terminal. Swift check by airport border force and you can be on your way in minutes.
