Málaga enjoys plenty of sunshine throughout the year, with an average of about 300 days of sunshine and only about 50 days with precipitation annually. Its coastal location with winds blowing from the Mediterranean Sea make the heat manageable during the summer.
Malaga airport is the main international airport serving the Costa Del Sol region. It is also one of the oldest Spanish airports. The airport contains a General Aviation Terminal, a terminal away from the main airport allowing you privacy and a swift process through on arrival, solely used by private jets.
This southern coast is your best bet for a sunny stay on mainland Spain. With a short flight time of just two hours, 30 minutes this is ideal destination for families.
