Weekend in Dublin

The National Museum of Ireland on Merrion Street has galleries of animals from Ireland and overseas as well as geological exhibits from a total collection of approximately 2 million.

Dublin Castle is a major Irish government complex, conference centre, and tourist attraction. It is located off Dame Street in Dublin, Ireland. The castle houses the magnificent State Apartments part of the Viceregal court.

Shopping

For those who prefer to spend an afternoon hitting the shops then Dublin has plenty of designer stores for you to visit. The city’s main shopping area runs from O’Connell street to Grafton Street. There are smaller boutique shops in the trendy Temple Bar area.

Thinking of bringing the kids to Dublin? Take them to the National Wax Museum where they can meet their favourite celebrities and many famous characters from Irish history. It’s the ultimate experience for young and old.
