The Mediterranean principality said that grandstands will be at up to 40% of full capacity for the three days of Formula 1 action on 20, 22 and 23 May.

It has been announced that 7,500 fans will be allowed to attend each day of on-track action at the Monaco Grand Prix between May 20-23.

While the COVID-19 protocols put in place by Formula 1 since 2020 have allowed for a near-normal 2021 calendar to be put together, the virus continues to bring restrictions.

Attendance will be limited to a maximum of 7,500 spectators per day, and there will be no restriction on the country of origin of those attending the event.

On Friday – a rest day for F1 that has other events on track – capacity will be limited to 3,000 people.

Spectators will have to take a PCR test for Covid-19 no more than 72 hours before attending the event and take proof of a negative result with them to the track.

Airports

Fly direct to Nice Airport, located just 30 minutes away from Monaco. Nice airport is the larger of the two airports and is equipped to handle aircraft of all sizes. The runway at Nice Côte d’Azur Airport is suitable for all aircraft from jets such as the Citation XLS and large executive jets such as the Bombardier Global 6000.

The airport is the main point of arrival for passengers to the Côte d’Azur (French Riviera) area. Due to its proximity to the principality of Monaco, it also serves as Monaco’s primary airport, with a helicopter service linking the city and airport.

The airport has its own General Aviation Terminal allowing quick and easy discreet travelling for private jet customers. With several FBOs at the airport it’s a good choice for a discreet and convenient arrival to the Monaco Grand Prix.
