Check-in

The check- in procedure for commercial travel means you have to arrive at the airport 1-3 hours prior to departure, whereas a private jet flights you can arrive just 20 minutes prior to your departure time. There are minimal waiting time as your bags are loaded onto the aircraft as you arrive.

Passport checks are swift, due to the fact your details will have already been taken and you’re pre-cleared to travel.

When you fly private you will arrive at a smaller dedicated private terminal, where you’re greeted by a member of staff, who will take all your luggage into the lounge. You and your children are able to relax in the lounge until your aircraft is ready to depart.

Security

Going through the security screening process on a private flight is much easier and quicker. It’s only your travelling party being screened. This is applicable on larger aircraft (over 10 tonnes).

We will notify you of this before your flight, to ensure that you know the relevant procedures. When you choose a private jet flight you’ll find it’s a less intrusive security check on all passengers prior to boarding.

Inflight

Whether it’s a short two hour hop over to Sion for the slopes of Verbier or a longer 7 hour 30 minute flight Dubai, trying to entertain the children can be extremely difficult.  You can bring iPads, yet they still find ways to get frustrated and restless.

Catering is tailored to your requests, so the children can order food that they actually like and will eat. Onboard they can listen to music, watch their favourite cartoons or films or read a book.

On larger planes such as the Embraer Legacy 650, it’s split up into 3 separate zones, perfect for kids in the rear zone and the adults up front.

Deplaning

On landing you don’t have to wait around to get off your aircraft, with hundreds of other passengers. Your luggage is quickly taken out of the hold and meets you in the private jet terminal reception minutes later. There’s no hanging around the baggage carousel for 20 minutes after you land.
