Falcona organised a one way private jet charter flight on a brand new Embraer Praetor 600 aircraft for 2 people and their Golden Retreiver dog. We received a request via the website and immediately got in touch with the passenger to see if it was feasible for them to travel, due to the travel entry requirements needed to fly from the UK to the USA.

This way saves time and means that we don’t send needless requests to our operators. Once the passenger had confirmed that they were USA citizens and passport holders, we got straight to work on their behalf. Our search included aircraft that would do the flight direct and aircraft that were pet friendly.

Not all aircraft allow pets onboard. Once we searched and found a couple of suitable aircraft we sent the quotes to our clients within a couple of hours.

Passengers – We both tested negative, good to go!!! Will forward receipts when we get them. Can you do me a favour, please, and print out one copy each of the two certificates I sent yesterday, and let me have them in the morning. My daughter’s printer is not working, and I would like to have a backup physical copy.

Keep your passports with you as they will be checked by the handling staff. I have printed the certificates for you too.

Operational Notes

All passengers (including children of all ages) travelling to USA airports and ports from ‘risk’ countries (the as determined by the European Centre for Disease Prevention & Control will be required to present a negative PCR (swab) test taken within no more than 72 hours prior to arrival, in order to enter the country.

The UK is currently on the ‘risk’ countries list and passengers arriving from the UK are therefore subject to this requirement.

You should not use the NHS testing service to get a test in order to facilitate your travel to another country. You should arrange to take a private test.

Entry to USA

Since 16 March 2020, it is not possible for many British nationals to enter the USA if they have been in the UK, Ireland, Schengen zone, Iran, Brazil, or China within the previous 14 days. As of 30 January 2021, South Africa will be included in this list.

Those arriving from outside these areas will need to get a visa or an Electronic System for Travel Authorisation (ESTA) visa waiver to enter or transit the USA as a visitor. You should consult the US State Department website to determine which you will need.

US citizens and permanent residents of the USA, certain specified close family members and certain other limited categories of visas holders (such as UN staff and diplomats) are exempt. They will still be able to enter the USA, subject to normal entry requirements.

As of 26 January 2021, all passengers aged 2 and above arriving by air into the United States from any foreign country will be prevented from entry into the United States unless they have either a negative pre-departure test result (NAAT or antigen), or documentation of recovery from COVID-19 provided by a licensed health care provider or public health official. It is recommended that you quarantine for at least 7 days after arriving in the US, and to take a COVID-19 test (NAAT or antigen) 3-5 days after arrival.
