17 Aug Manchester to Dublin on a Falcon 900B
Falcona organised a private jet charter flight on a Dassault Falcon 900B for a group of friends, to celebrate a birthday. The trip was originally planned for April, but due to the pandemic and travel restrictions, we had to re-schedule the flight. Our passengers stayed overnight and booked an AirBnB so they stayed in one location.
“Well it looks to me like Ireland is unlikely to go ahead. Everywhere is closed down from tourist attractions to pubs, and I think it’d be overly optimistic to think it’ll all get better by April. Can you let me know where I stand with regards to cancelling the trip. If I can’t get a refund can you ask what can be done about rearranging it?
I’m gutted but I think I need to start looking at my options as at this rate even if I can still fly to Dublin, I don’t think there’ll be much point! Well I just spoke to the hotel I’ve booked us all in at and they said everywhere from coffee shops to bars are now closed. Even the ones in the hotel! I’ll wait to hear from you. Thanks!”
I’m working on both trips at the moment to see where we’re at. Must admit doesn’t look promising. Will let you know soon as possible regarding cancelling and re-scheduling your trips.
“I think rather than cancel I’d like to push the flights back – I’m thinking surely by August we’ve got to be getting back to normal? How about Saturday August 1st – returning Sunday 2nd?
We can leave Dubrovnik as it is for now, but could you check that we’d be okay to push those back to September if need be? Such trying times we’re currently going through. I for one cannot wait to get back to normal! Looks like it’ll be a good few weeks yet thought.”
Hi, I think they will be flexible on the Dubrovnik trip nearer the time. Reckon that’s the response they have to give to everyone now. They have always been ok to deal with in the past although these are different circumstances! I will work on that one.
If you cancelled the Dublin trip altogether now there would be a cancellation charge, even though it’s out of everyone’s hand. You would get the balance back for sure, or put towards next flight. Speak tomorrow, if any other questions just email or message me.
Trip to Dublin – best option would be 8/9th same times otherwise due to another flight it wouldn’t be able to depart on the 1st Aug until 17:30 local which I thought would be no good as you’re only going overnight? Let me know.
“Hi mate, No worries, I’m currently looking into a big air bnb. A hotel wouldn’t work as we’d be locked in our rooms lol – If I can get a house then I think we can all fly over and have fun. Keep me posted I’ll do the same.”

Aircraft
With its 4,200nm range, three powerful engines and highly efficient wing design, this Falcon 900B can take off and land at small airports that are closer to your final destination.
The 900B boasts a large cabin, fit for intercontinental range accommodations. It typically seats 8-14 in an executive arrangement.
The spacious cabin measures 6.2 feet in height (full stand-up), 7.7 feet in width, and 39 feet in length. Amenities include a full-sized private lavatory and galley.
The aircraft can travel 3,995 nautical miles at as high as Mach .84. Its high speed cruise is 474 knots and 51,000 feet is its flight ceiling, a rare feat.
A traditional cabin layout features a galley opposite the main entry, a small forward closet, a forward club-four grouping of larger executive seats bifurcated with folding sidewall tables, then four narrower seats arrayed around a hi-lo conference table across the aisle from a credenza/entertainment center.
Behind that is the lavatory with another small wardrobe closet and through the lavatory passengers can access the heated 127-cubic-foot baggage compartment in flight. The external baggage door incorporates a step for easy loading. Natural lighting comes from 24 windows. it is airy, light and elegant.
