Manchester to Dublin on a CJ2

Falcona organised a private jet charter flight on a Cessna Citation CJ2 for a couple who wanted to get to Dublin to see family. Our clients fly on a regular basis and prefer aircraft like the CJ2 as it suits their travel needs.

On arrival at the airport our passengers were escorted to the lounge and their bags taken to the aircraft. After a few minutes and having their documents checked, they boarded the aircraft. No slot delays or weather issues today. It went smoothly.

Operational Notes

Entry rules in response to coronavirus (COVID-19) for passengers travelling to Ireland from Great Britain

Travellers arriving into Ireland from Great Britain or from all other non-EU/EEA countries, should follow the Irish Government guidance for travellers arriving from non-EU/EEA countries.

Passenger Locator Form

All travellers to Ireland must fill out a Passenger Locator Form before departure. Failure to complete this form is an offence. See Irish Government guidance on completing the form online, who is exempt, and penalties for failure to submit an online form. The Passenger Locator Form will be checked by air or sea carriers before departure. Passengers may also be asked for proof of vaccination or negative PCR test. Individuals travelling from Great Britain to Ireland via Northern Ireland should also complete a Passenger Locator Form.

Travelling when fully vaccinated

Travellers arriving into Ireland from Great Britain with valid proof of full vaccination, or with proof of recovery from COVID-19 within 180 days, will not require travel-related testing or quarantine.

Fully vaccinated or recovered passengers travelling from Great Britain to Ireland will need to have proof of their full vaccination or recovery record. (See ‘Demonstrating your COVID-19 status’).

For more information on the Irish Government’s definition of fully vaccinated, see the Irish Government website.

Demonstrating your COVID-19 status

Ireland will accept the UK’s proof of COVID-19 recovery and vaccination record. Your NHS appointment card from vaccination centres is not designed to be used as proof of vaccination and should not be used to demonstrate your vaccine status.

Aircraft

Cessna Citation CJ2

A small business jet for up to 7 passengers. The Citation CJ2 is one of the finest private jets available for air charter. It seats seven to eight passengers and has a range of 1,511 nautical miles. The cabin of the Citation CJ2 is designed in such a manner that the seating can be adjusted to accommodate the number of passengers travelling in the private jet charter.

There are four luxury seats in club configuration and two similar seats in the rear.

The seats can slide forward and rearward to make the required space available. There is a toilet at the rear of the private plane and a galley behind the crew compartment.

The Citation CJ2 also has generous luggage capacity, with facilities for storage at the rear of the private jet, in the cabin itself and in two nose lockers, making for a total of 74 cubic feet.

The CJ2 is one of the most comfortable private jet rental aircraft to fly in because of the sophisticated cabin pressurization system that is a standard feature in this aircraft.
