Manchester to Clermont on Phenom 300e

Falcona organised a private jet charter flight from Manchester to Clermont for two people on a business trip. Their choice of aircraft was a new Embraer Phenom 300E

The aircraft positioned in from Oxford Airport the evening before the flight. Just a 25 minute flight.

On arrival at the airport our passengers were escorted to the lounge and their bags taken to the aircraft. After a few minutes and having their documents checked, they boarded the aircraft.

Operational Notes

If you‘re fully vaccinated

If you’re planning to travel to France you should consult the French government guidance.

From 14 January 2022, fully vaccinated (see ‘Vaccination status’ below) travellers from the UK must:

  • Present a negative PCR or antigen test result taken within 48 hours pre-departure if aged 12 years and over
  • Provide a completed ‘sworn statement’ (déclaration sur l’honneur) form self-certifying you’re not suffering from symptoms associated with coronavirus and have not been in contact with confirmed cases in the preceding fortnight. This can be found on the French government’s website

You may also be asked to complete the EU-PLF form before boarding.

You should not use the NHS testing service to get a test in order to facilitate your travel to an-other country. You should arrange to take a private test from a private coronavirus testing provider. Test results must be certified by an approved private test provider to be accepted.

Travellers might be asked to take a test upon arrival in France, including at Gare du Nord for Eurostar arrivals. Anyone testing positive for COVID-19 will be subject to mandatory self-isolation for 10 days.

Proof of vaccination status

France will accept the UK’s proof of COVID-19 recovery and vaccination record at the border. The French government recognises any vaccination certificates which conform to the EU Digital Covid Status Certification framework, illustrating that you are fully vaccinated with a vaccine authorised by the European Medical Authority.

This means your final vaccine dose must have been administered at least 7 days prior to travel for Oxford/AstraZeneca, Pfizer/BioNTech, Moderna or 28 days after a single dose of Johnson & Johnson. For details on how to demonstrate your COVID-19 status in domestic settings in France, see the Coronavirus page.

Your NHS appointment card from vaccination centres is not designed to be used as proof of vaccination and should not be used to demonstrate your vaccine status.

Travellers aged over 18 and one month who had their full vaccine course over 9 months ago and have not since received a COVID-19 vaccine booster must follow the rules for unvaccinated passengers to enter France.

Aircraft

Embraer Phenom 300E

The Phenom 300E is a further development of the Phenom 300, which, although the aircraft already has an excellent reputation, has received many detail improvements. The additional E in the name stands for enhanced.

Compared to the previous aircraft, the speed has increased from 800 km/h to 859 km/h and the range has increased from 3,650 km to 3,723 km.

This means we can get you even faster to your destination. The Phenom 300E offers a perfect compromise between space and comfort.

The new aircraft also features particularly comfortable seats and practical tables. So you can also work, eat or simply relax during the flight.

Thanks to improved sound insulation, it is even quieter in the cabin. Two additional seats allow up to 8 passengers to travel in comfort and convenience.

With the Premium Cabin Management System “niceHD” from Lufthansa Technik, flight information can be called up and the air conditioning and lighting can be controlled individually by the passengers, directly according to their needs.

To see the current flight information or to make adjustments, 2 high-resolution and fold-out 7 inch touch displays are mounted on the ceiling.

A sophisticated lighting design, using discreet and indirect lighting, creates a special atmosphere in the cabin.
