22 Apr Albany, NY to Birmingham, UK
Falcona organised a one way private jet charter flight from Albany, New York to Birmingham, UK on a super mid-size Embraer Praetor 600. The purpose of the flight was for the passengers to visit relatives.
Once we had the enquiry from our website, we sent a couple of suitable aircraft quotes to the client. The aircraft we chose were a Embraer Praetor 600 and a Bombardier Global 6000, with both aircraft being able to do the flight direct.
Client – “I saw on your website the precautions being taken for COVID 19. If you are just a broker, how do you enforce all precautions. Is the crew vaccinated or tested before flight?
Falcona – Yes we’re a charter broker. We can’t enforce it, however all the operators crew that we use are tested prior to flights as in their charter operator protocols. It’s the same for crew and passengers.
Client – I am interested in Praetor 600. Does the quote include all expenses ? We do not need catering. Do you accept American Express?
Falcona – ” Yes the quote is all inclusive, as stated things such as car transfers, de-icing etc are not. Yes catering is included. Payment is via bank transfer to our account (HSBC UK).
Are you still interested in the aircraft? We can secure the aircraft for you tomorrow. Although bank transfer is preferred we’re just waiting to see what the charges are for AMEX payments from accounts.
Do you have any further questions?
It’s a great aircraft, we recently did a charter flight on it from Manchester to NY (Teterboro) at the end of March.
Client – Can you share info on aircraft operator and safety record. Did the flight from Manchester to NY go nonstop because of the headwinds?
Falcona – Once you have booked we will send the final aircraft details inc tail number and the private jet terminal meeting points. The operator is UK based and has an impeccable safety record.
All their UK pilots hold a full Airline Transport Pilot Licence and CLASS 1 medical certificate and their training syllabus includes ongoing training, far beyond the minimum regulatory standard.
All pilots undergo Recurrent Simulator Training and revalidate their type ratings every six months.
Pilot Minimum Qualifications: > 1,500 fixed-wing flight hours
Airport Transport Pilot License > Class One Medical Certificate.

Yes it was direct flight 6 hours 55 minutes.
Client – Hi OK. Got it. I think we will go ahead. I am going for get tested within the hour. Should have result in ½ hr, we have our own lab. My wife will get tested 2.30 pm. I don’t see any reason that it should be positive, but that is requirement.
Falcona – Ok great, i will double check availability with them now and send over a DocuSign agreement, whilst you’re getting your PCR Test. Once you’ve done that I can secure the aircraft for you right away.
Client – I am getting both antigen and PCR test. Antigen report will be quick.
Falcona – Thank you for confirming your flight booking with Falcona Private Jets. Kindly provide us with full passenger passport details picture via (WhatsApp, text or email and mention any specific catering and service requirements to us.
