A private jet charter flight with your beloved pet is the best way to travel. If you’re planning on taking your pet or pets with you on holiday instead of leaving them with a family member or in kennels; there’s really only one safe and comfortable option.  

Commercial Travel

The standard procedure on a commercial airline for most pets is to place them in a transportation cage and load them into the air-conditioned section of the cargo hold. This way of travelling for pets is and can be an extremely traumatic experience for them. 

Private Jet Travel

Travelling on a private jet with your pet in contrast to commercial flights, a private jet charter allows your pet to travel in the cabin with you, either in a cage or on the seat with you. This way of flying means your pet is more comfortable and the experience is a much better one than a commercial flight.

 

What we do

We will search the market place on your behalf for a pet friendly aircraft that suits your needs and will be able to get you to your destination directly. 

For example there are approximately 40 approved operators that can fly to Manchester Airport with pets onboard. Each operator also has their own conditions of travel. We also check that the operator is able to transport your pet to and from a specific airport.

For your return into the UK you will need to have the appropriate documents to prove that your pet has had all the necessary jabs and that it complies with the rules for entering the UK.

The PETS Travel regulations differ from country to country and our industry knowledge helps us work with the relevant agencies so that you can travel uninterrupted to your destination.

Process

In order to travel by air, all pets are required to have a pet passport, a microchip, a current rabies vaccination and they must have been injected for ticks and tapeworms between 24 and 120 hours prior to arriving back in the United Kingdom.

Through our data base and knowledge we were able to locate aircraft that allow pets onboard, as not all aircraft operators allow them.

Aircraft and operator needs to be DEFRA approved to arrive into Manchester, so this is something that we work closely with our friends here in Manchester, with Pets On Jets.

They come over and check all details are correct, otherwise dog could be detained. So all paper work has to be done correctly. Once checked you can then go to your final destination.

The Embraer Phenom 300 arrived in Manchester the night before it’s departure, so we were able to meet the pilots and have a quick chat about the flight. Explain to them what our clients prefer ie bags take on with them what the do and don’t like and how the dog behaves on the flight etc

Manchester Airport

On their arrival at Manchester our passengers were met by members of the handling agent staff at Signature Flight Support. They were then escorted them to the lounge, where they were able to relax before they departed.

 

As we are onsite it was possible to speak directly to clients and with the crew and ensure they were kept up to date with the flight and escort clients to their aircraft.
