family ski holidays by private jet

Chambery Airport

Fly to Chambery Airport by private jet, the gateway to some of Europe’s finest ski resorts. Chambery allows you to reach resorts such as Courchevel, Val d’Isere, Chamonix and Meribel.

Ideally situated in the centre of the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region, Chambéry Savoie Mont Blanc is the closest airport to the ski resorts.

Benefiting from a superb road and motorway network, the airport gives you easy access to all the internationally recognised resorts such as Courchevel, Val d’Isère and Megève.

So you’ll be able to get to your destination quickly by car or by helicopter.

If we are unable to respond positively to your slot or parking request at LFLB, we will transfer you to Geneva, Grenoble Alpes Isère or Lyon Bron airports.

Please note

  • Availability for overnight parking on the nights of Friday to Sunday is limited: your requests will be studied on a case by case basis.
  • The airport does not have hangarage.

Geneva and Lyon are the two nearest major airports but transfers from each are at least double the time from Chambery.

Chambery airport is located 20 minutes drive north from the town of Chambery. Take the N102 or the D991 to get there.

Chambery Airport is one of many French regional airports which is available to private jet charter flights, however it does have some limitations due to its geographical position; the mountains that surround the airport, which does limit some types of larger private jets.

You still have lots of choice to choose from when it comes to charter aircraft.

The airport has a dedicated private jet terminal which offers many services, including helicopter charter to your resort which is a lot faster than by car.

Please be advised Chambery is a Day VFR airport, and is subject to weather.

Our suggested alternative is either Geneva (weekdays only) or Lyon Bron however this can be amended to suit your clients final destination (subject to feasibility).
