Cessna Citation Excel

The Citation Excel is often a favourite among mid class aircraft. It has a roomy and updated interior, an enclosed lavatory, and amenities. It is an excellent option for trips that require comfort, without sacrificing performance. The Cessna Citation Excel, which seats up to nine passengers, is the world’s most widely used business jet. Offering a stand-up cabin, a top speed of over 500 mph, and range of over 2,000 miles, it can fly at altitudes of up to 45,000 feet, well above any weather.

More than 18 feet long, the mid-sized cabin of the Excel provides ample room and a stand-up comfort for up to seven passengers. Even its baggage compartment is larger than other jets in its class. The Excel also features a full refreshment centre and aft-lavatory.

The Citation Excel’s cabin is the largest of any light business jet. It features stand-up headroom and a dropped aisle that runs the length of the main cabin. Seated head and elbow room is greater than that in the Citation V, while the cabin length is similar to the Citation VII.  Details like fold-out tables and sliding headrests make the interior comfortable.  There are several different seating arrangements to choose from, including one option with a three-person divan.  An external compartment provides 80 cubic feet of storage space, along with some additional space in an internal closet.

It has the ability to operate out of smaller airports whilst offering all the comforts and amenities of a larger mid-size jet. It has a large baggage compartment can take several full size suitcases and the cabin can accommodate up to nine passengers with a separate stand-up toilet. Perfect for golf or ski trips due to its large luggage capacity. Popular route is Manchester to Malaga or London to Chambery. It’s the best selling business jet for a reason.
